Hi and Welcome to Wildcat Wood,

In 1991 we began this railing business in Montana. About four years
later we moved to Michigan and would go back out to Montana to get our
supply of wood. In 2000 we moved to our present, and I hope permanent,
location in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

We are now building about 280 feet of railing per week plus several
log stairways, beds, and mantels. Steve Giebal of Eureka, Montana is our
woodcutter and he goes up into the high country and thins out the dead
lodge pole so others may grow. The 3-4 inch diameter rails from Steve
will be straight, with little taper and 30-35 years old. The 6 inch posts will
often be 60 plus years old making this a very dense and satisfactory wood.

We receive a 57% discount with Yellow Freight Company and we
also provide a sizeable discount for those ordering East of the Mississippi.
